Governor Scorpius holds a high ranking position in Periz city on Shuromij, managing work and pension schemes for civilians across the dystopian metropolis. Highly corrupt, it was thanks to him that many elite fat cats among the city’s megacorporations seized power and got away with unlawful actions unopposed. Ever hungry for greater ambitions, it was fortunate luck that Scorpius gave sanctuary to professor Straig only to blackmail the former Nishin Genma scientist into yielding his knowledge. Scorpius wanted to be master of psychic powers for total control over Periz, little releasing that Straig was guilty of more crimes than Scorpius knew he was blackmailing him with.
